Progress on child prisoner campaign


CADFA CHILD PRISONER CAMPAIGN June/ July 2011

Recently we have

20th June - presented over 1000 letters about child prisoners in Israeli jails to Frank Dobson MP and Glenda Jackson MP - they are taking them to the Foreign Office

Discussed with them further action including an EDM on the issue

21st June - Held a meeting with child speakers talking about their experience of child imprisonment

25th June - Presented copies of the letters to Jean Lambert MEP – she is taking them (and copies of our books) to the European parliament

7th July - Held a meeting on child prisoners with a speaker from Addameer, Palestine
